I guess I'm more of a function over form type. To me, the asymmetry of the new isn't as distracting as the redundancy of the old.

Lexus is just late to the party. As others have mentioned ... MB, BMW, Infiniti, Jag, Audi, etc. arrange their badging this way. We just aren't used to it yet.

However, if it's really your thing, you could always get a Panamera. "But honey, it was the only luxury sports sedan I could find that has symmetrical badging".

I like it without the "Lexus" emblem. Time to take off the GS 350 emblem as well, if it didn't have holes behind it.

i am ok without the lexus badge. like others said, you don't see bmw and mb badges on their cars along with their emblems. when people see L, they know it's lexus already

Yup I agree. No Lexus badge is the way to go after more than 20 years of existence.

Look at the new Porsche Panamera, no one would notice it's a Porsche, hence why the Posche badge on the rear deck.
