GS 350 LED Turn Signal Hyper Flash Fix
#46
Fasblinking turn signal
I just replaced all 4 (front and rear) turn signal bulbs with LED bulbs from V-LEDs. After this modification, Hyper Flash has now taken effect since the low voltage of the LED bulbs makes the car think that the bulbs are burnt out. I researched installing resisters in the car to fix this problem, but realized that it would require cutting factory wires (which i don't want to do). Also resisters burn hot. Anyway, i ordered the Electronic 12V 150W LED Flasher Relay Fix (Link below) but i am uncertain of how to install this.
Does anyone know how to properly install this relay?
Also, i saw some posts saying that this relay modification disables the warnings lights (flashers) when you lock and unlock the car. Is this true for the 3rd generation GS, since i saw that post for the 2nd generation GS.
If anyone has any pictures / videos on how to install this relay, that would be greatly appreciated.

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but I just got my hands on these:

and they actually work.
Only have them in the rear turn signals as I only bought one pair, expecting them not to work. But so far so good. Door lock answer also works. Just bought another pair to go in the front
