Yes - I have used the "zip tie" method the last couple of times when I bought new sensors..
You have to get it just right to trick the system.
Works like a charm!!

Update: Thanks to those who helped me with this however I just UPS my sensors so that they can be installed into my wheels. Originally I was going to have to get them broke down and the sensors installed myself. Now they are going to install them before i get them

!!!BTW, on my current wheels, I am using the old stocks in the garage next to car. I have another set, but not mounted... waiting for the next set to come around.
