No notice in performance. It's pretty simple to install. I believe the filter box is on the left side...just has clips that hold it together.

Just got the F-sport filter from the dealer. Same thing as the K&N and I took the car on a day trip to Charleston, SC for the day and recorded a record 32.9 mpg at 70-75 mph. Some sweet numbers with 303 hp under the hood!

Don't know about how the K&N affects the Lexus MAF sensor but the oil from the filter was a real problem when it contaminated the MAF on my Mercedes SL500.
K&N's were great on engines with carburetors but have had some reported problems on Fuel Injected engines, especially engines that use a MAF sensor.

Absolutely no performance differences that i can see...
However, I do notice $$ differences. The K&N filter is a lifetime filter, just clean and re-use. Unlike other filter you have to keep buying new ones.

Is the growl from the intake a significant difference or just subtle? I would like to buy one but not until my stock one needs replacing.
I drove 300 miles on about half a tank going 100+ in some parts (not on purpose...)
