Product Warning Nokya Hyper-yellow Fog Bulbs
I've been running the hyper yellow Nokya 2500 bulbs for a while. They dont seem to last long and I've needed to replace each bulb once due to premature burnout....I was not surprised to see a bulb out this week so I went to swap my OEM bulbs back since this ***** is getting old....Look what I found....needless to say I am back to OEM now....luckly, the connection is still good and the OEM bulb works without me having to swap the wire harness (yet)

Interesting, i ran them on my Acura Tsx and they definatly didn't last long at all. But definatly my harness wasn't burning. I tried a lot of different brands and none of them actually last as expected. Best bulb goes to OEM then QUALITY HIDS KITS. Pick one and stick to it.

70Watt, no wonder. The highest you should go is 55Watt.
The OEM is like 35Watt, the next up is 55Watt and that said to produce 2x the lumen. I didn't see the different so contemplate on getting HID, finally did and now it works great. HID is 35Watt but I'm concern the starting period of HID.
35 watt normal run using around 12V and 3.2A while during start up period it sucking 5.5A for about 5mins. The fuse is about 10A so I think the whole wiring can handle it but than situation like yours cause some concern. When I get a chance I think I will buy a cable harness for my fog lights.
the 55Watt is rate at putting out 1.3K lumen, HID is spec 3K lumen. And I do see a huge different. Just don't turn it on/off too quickly.

Watt is the unit for power. The Watt on the bulb indicate how much power the bulb rated to use (or sucks). Here, the bulb drawn too much power for the connector to handle so the connector burned.
