iPhone has a better DAC (than any current Android phone) so there would be better audio quality when hooked up to your car. Also, your car would retain OSD and steering wheel controls for the music. Everything would also be consolidated to one device. No need to activate a separate data plan for the iPad, or if you're on the cheap, drain the battery by tethering your Android/iPhone's internet to the iPad. Also, no need for separate chargers.

Pro Clip

I have a pro clip ipad mount that I am willing to part with, had it in me jeep srt8 and took it out when I got the 3gs. The holder will not fit your car but the ipad mount is good to go and is the swiveling one. Email me rstraube724@yahoo.com if interested.

i must say dont do it at all too many problems with them already in other cars and also why even do that doesnt make sense sorry bro just saying

if u read my first post, the reasons are all there. and i dont understand what you mean by "problems" because all i plan to do is mount the thing, and MAYBE use it with GROM. if i mount the thing, its not even connected to the car, so what "problems" are you speaking of
