Keeping in clean......for now. (PICS)
After a few months of owning my GS450h I have to say that I am still undecided on the car. I think the car is phenomenal, however I am just not sure that it is the right car for me. I think it's the CVT that's been the hardest for me to adapt to. In any case as much as I told myself that I would not mod the new GS, I just couldn't bare to see it stock. So the playing has begun. So far I have only added the L-Tuned kit and 20mm Ichiba spacers. I'm happy with the over all effect. I have a set of wheels in mind, but I'm still considering a few others, and suspension will be done at the same time. I think I'm going to wait until I decide on wheels before I choose my suspension setup. I got both at the same time on my previous GS and wanted to go lower afterwards, lol. Anyway here's a few pics....

Very nice pictures and that car is stunning in black! I really love how the hybrid rims look on our cars! I also say that I will never mod the car but the little things will come. I am not a fan of going back to a harsh low ride so I will pass on the 20 inch rims and the lowered suspension. Your car is hot the way it is!

Its very logical, I have 8 and 6k spring rates and my car rides great everyone thats rode in it also agrees that for being as low as it is they cant believe the ride. As far as harsh roads Washington D.C. and Baltimore aren t known for they re smooth roads just gotta duck and weave the potholes

+1....My ride quality going from my stock 18" to 20" did not change much to be honest. Even when I lowered it I was surprised by the ride quality since I've had other cars (camaro, transAM) lowered and ride just sucked (lol).

Thats good news......This thread made a hard left turn after this post. I was just telling the op that some people are in a Lexus (me included) who want that "Lexus ride". Coming from an Acura TL lowered car on 18 inch rims, the ride was compromised. I figured the same would apply going from a 245 series tire to a 235 tire and a suspension upgrade. It just makes sense regardless of the car. OP, do what makes you happy and enjoy that 450H!
