i actually like it. yes its a little bright but its different. the painted headlight trim is starting to grow on me also. with everything off, you should of had them paint the window trim black.
pics are up just a sneak peek of what is to come this is how my painter take his job to the other level to make sure thing are getting done the right way.
That's really nice color M.. Really stand out .. Be sure to keep us updated w/ur new pix... Good luck buddy
imo, the color is beautiful, the job was done great.omly a few things i would change the grille, the piece arond he headlights would stay chrome, and i would add chrome rims painted to match the car. i know it sounds bad. but its already a green lexus. oh and id black out the tails. just my opinion. again the color is great.
I'd have to admit, when I first saw the pictures of the car getting painted I was a bit skeptical. I was having flashbacks of a civic/integra car show nightmare. Personally my taste is a bit more conservative and would never be as bold as to put this bright of a color on my car. I think the car looks clean. I understand your point of the color and style. You pulled it off. I think with air and some deeper lipped wheels, it will be even better.
thanks for the compliments the only reason I painted the headlight surounds were they were peeling the chrome was coming off and all chipped up. trying to get some work wheels and a air runner set up or some vossen wheels, but with xmas around the corner and just paying for the paint job car funds are a little low. I have big plans for next year and will keep everyone updated on the progress. Oh and it not candy it a factory OEM color.
Its not from either one of those families, it called snake skin green from chrysler family with a little more green added in than the yellow tint that's give it that 3 stage look

I know everyone is telling to change the grill and about the headlight trim, but with everything there are reason for it. My grill was a Carson grill until I took the emblem out of the center, then the headlight trim was peeling and cracking and I should have spent the $100 and got new ones but I like the way it looks for me. I may change some stuff down the road but for now they are staying painted. We did tint the tails and were just too dark for my taste, and we also tinted them red and it just didn't follow. Thanks for the idea chrome wheels are coming soon also, but what I can say as of right now I have one of the only 07 GS like this in nor cal and that's what I was going for. I don't like when I go places and everyone else has the same stuff I do I like my car to be my car not like someone else car.
Polished or machined faced wheels would look better with the color than chrome IMO, blacking out the tails would also look hood with the black roof keep the clear part of the lens clear though! Just my .02
