just a minor fix + free gas, carwash ....

...and ill have them take note of a few engine "issues" for a "free" engine checkup/diagnostics

wow another recall...................... Toyota is on a roll this year

I just picked up my car for the valve spring recall today. I dont think this recall involves the 2007's, but damn........

one was the steering assembly and the other was concerning the brakes I believe...can't remember the third.

fuel rails, rear brake caliper, steering , valve springs, front brakes.

Just called the dealer and they told me letters will be sent out mid November,is that how recall process work?This is my first time.

Yes. You can also check on the lexus web site it will probably pop there first just to confirm that you should be getting something in the mail.

FYI. This recall seems to have popped on the active "Campaigns" list for affected vehicles, at least in the owner's section for Lexus Canada.

Seems pretty early as they said they weren't going to send out notices until mid November. I'm not sure if it's too soon to call and ask about getting it done and having it over with.

I called my dealership and they told me I need to wait tell I recieve the notice cause I need to show them that notice, so in other words I gotta wait.

yeah but apparently they said they have nothing reagrding it so they need that mailed letter to provide the service first, sound crazy but my service guy is on vacation and I'm dealing with another service guy and thats what he said.
