Just got mine done. Guess there was no problem because they didn't replace the brake booster as well. They used 2 bottles of brake fluid according to my invoice.

Got a meal ticket, car wash, and they did fill up the gas tank. I wasn't being super cheap though I brought it in with half a tank. :P

Can't notice any difference in brake feel afterwards. Lexus is just being paranoid.

I found this link that you can check your VIN to see if your GS is affected or not.

had to call them to confirm my car needed to be serviced rather than then calling me or sending me a letter. got a loaner. went to pick up. invoice said $250 or so i think as the total.... included a brake fluid flush they said. so would not need to do brake fluid flush as part of 60k service later.

car wash yes, gas fill up no. ice cream yes.

I got my done last month at a Lexus dealer in OK. The repair took around 2 hours and I got a 2010 RX as a loaner. They replaced the master cyclinder kit and did the brake drain & refill. So far everything is good and I can't feel any differencein braking.
