Let me throw my hat in. In yesterday's mail I received the $1,500 certificate off a new or leased car for the next year (until 10/27/11). Also received an 'extended' power train warranty of 6 yrs/100,000 miles.

Extended warranty doesn't do me much good as I drive less then 700 miles per month.

I have an is350, but i got the letter also. $1500 off and 6yr/100k warranty.

I will keep my eyes open for the letter.To bad I already extended my warranty with the 125 K miles new Lexus warranty. So I am good to go

To everyone who didn't get the letter about the extended warranty, the coupon or the 1,500 for loyalty after reading more then dozen of posts people geting cool stuff from lexus after recall i got jealous. So i googled lexus customer service and called them. I called and asked why haven't i got it while other friends have. They checked and said that they didnt have my address confirmed ( weird ). I confirmed it and told them i rather get 1,500 and 500 gift card over the extended warranty because i have already extended it. So again to who ever didn't get this CALL LEXUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LET THEM KNOW

$500 gift card !!!! did they give it to you?

you think they'd give me $1000 gift card if I waive the extended warranty and $1500 bonus cash ?
that could pay for about 15 oil changes.

the extended warranty is useless to me, and i'm not planning to buy any new lexus soon

Dunnojack, i don't know you would have to confirm it with them. No i haven't received it yet but its in the mail any day now.

I brought it up my self, and also told them i already have the extended warranty. Don't be shy just tell them straight up how it is , and that you find it unfair that you haven't gotten one.

but it sounds like they're just sending you what others have gotten already- $1500 towards a new lex and a 100k mile warranty

No they sending me 1,500 for my next lex, and 500 gift card because i already have extended warranty. If you have extended warranty they will send you a 500'gift card instead.

i bought my car used. i also called and found out that my car already had this recall performed. the previous owner received the 1500.00 voucher. so i cannot get that. but the cars vin has the 100k warranty on it. im good til july/2013. also had to change the info to add me and remove previous owner. thanks for the info.

No problem, look at the bright side you at least had the mileage on the warranty extended.

thanks for the clarification.

it looks like my chances of getting a GC are slim, but I'll try to negotiate and see if i can trade the 100k warranty for monetary compensation.
I will never hit 70k in 6 years.
