How Much did you pay for your 3rd GEN?

everytime you guys post prices i always feel like they are at least $4000 less than any posted prices I can find online.
I must have overpaid for my GS
In May 2008 I got a GS 300 AWD with all options except parking sensors/radar cruise/pre-collision.
20K, paid $35,500.
It was mint, a returned lease, had the full warranty.
I just feel like I got ripped off, but it was the cheapest one i could find at the time with those features in that condition.

The price for new GS350 AWD (luxury) in my country - 82.000 $
In our currency it is almost 2.5 million rubles ~ 40% of price - taxes
Used 2-3 year old GS - for 40-50k$.
How much cost new GS AWD in U.S.A. ?

well, that's pretty close to me I guess, but you still got a better price than I did by $1500 with only 10K more miles. I'm just saying at the time, I couldn't find the GS for less than what I paid.
dunno, i guess i'm not wired into the special forum prices

That's 500 bucks less than I paid for my 2 year old (and bog slow) GS 300 at the time. Is yours AWD. I of course wanted the 350 at the time but they were all well over $40,000. Where did you find this kind of price? How can I get access to these prices???

sorry, i guess i made it sound wrong. i did check my car all around and found no signs of aftermarket paint or bondo. i know a little something about bodywork. what i meant was that i went to another dealer(small) that had the "auction list" of all the gs300's in the auction.all cars had a carfax "reported" incident. so the carfax states that you need to remove this much from the actual resale price. i actually bought a gs300 and on the way home the sunroof stopped working, and the gas went to zero. so i pulled in to a gas station only to find that the whole drop down box was screwed. i couldnt even open the gas tank.nothing worked on it. i drove home and took it back the next day and got a refund. thankfully i had not signed the papers yet. they showed me a bunch of other gs300 and 350's on the auction lot all of them had some sort of bad carfax reading.and depending on miles a 06' gs was at auction around 21k-23k. this is before dealer adds his profit. i think your best bet is to look, look, look....... make sure you get it from a reputable dealership.btw sorry for the long writing. i just want to give you a heads up.

btw i know carfax doesnt mean too much,i had no service records on my car on its carfax. but the engine and tranny are tip top shape. even after oil change and around 2k miles the dipstick comes out clean. so car was never serviced at a dealer.(i suppose).anyways god luck. be careful.

I paid way too much but keep in mind I also purchased a maintenance plan and extended the CPO Warranty for 4 years and 125k miles + trading in an 06 GS430 with a jacked bumper... Being in the southeast, you should be able to find an 07 or newer GS350 with 40 - 50k miles with all options you want and CPO for around 30k, give or take a few... Depending on what M3 you had, the GS is a more expensive car to own so I do recommend you get a CPO GS...
