I recently had my car in for service. While at the dealership I told mt service rep that I noticed that the right side of my dash lines up smoothly with the top of the right door panel whereas my left side of the dash is like a 1/4" higher than the left door panel edge. Since my dash had been worked on several times I assumed it was the techs but then the service advisor sent me these pics ( below) showing the very same misalignment in the 2010 GS350 on the showroom floor. I am wondering if I jst stumbled upon a production defect . Next time you guys get in your rides check the dash height alignment with the top of the door panels. I am wondering if this is really common


The photos shown are of the 2010 GS in the showroom. Mine looks exactly the same

guess i can't seem to see the difference in the pics, looking from shadow both sides look similar to me

They look the same like mine. Don't forget the shapes of LH & RH dashboard don't look the same.

Mine is same as yours - lines up perfectly on right, but not on left. However I notice on left that the dash is too high at the top, and too low at the bottom, which suggests that it is not misaligned, but rather mis-sized.
