Default GS Mileage/Anticipated Longevity

How many miles on your GS? How many miles are you hoping to get out of it? i have an 07 GS350 AWD with 70,000 miles and i'm looking to get another 120K miles (30K/YR for 4 years....) out of her to 200K. thoughts on longevity? anyone have an older one with this kind of mileage?

I don't know about the 3GS, but my 2000 GS had 194,000 when I sold it. It was still running strong with no known mechanical issues.

'06 with 37K. I suppose the good news is if you look in Autotrader, it seems like cars with very high mileage (which I consider to be 55K and up, I am a fanatic about keeping miles off the car) they still are asking $20,000 or so. Even with 75 or 80K on the clock. Doubtful they get that much, but at least putting a ton of miles on your 3GS doesn't significantly reduce the true market value.

Of course the when the 4GS comes out, I think we can expect that the value of our 3GS will drop off a cliff. You can get a nice 2GS these days for what, $11 or 12 grand?

I too have decided to drive my 3GS until there is nothing but a pile of blue powder in the garage one morning. I want 15 years minimum out of her. At my current rate of driving that's about 150,000. Should be easy.

Hey guys! I have just purchased my 2007 with 46k on the clock two months ago. I just sold my 2005 Acura TL with 215,000 miles on the clock with no issues what so ever. I drive 60k per year so I will hit the 100k mark in less than 10 months from now. I will be posting a thread on it in the next month. I just changed the oil for the third time yesterday. I changed it at 46k (when I bought it) at 50k and then 55k (yesterday).

I am a technician by trade so I am about as **** as they come with my cars. I put 10k on the car already and all seems great with the car so far....Time will tell. I can see myself getting the same amount of miles and many more miles than I got out of my TL.

Stay tooned as I will have a 60k thread and beyond thread next month when I change the oil, brake fluid, air filter, cabin filter, plugs, low dust front pads and maybe the transmission fluid. I am still searching on the tranny fluid part. All work is always done by me and only me. I know it's done and done right.

Default 07 gs350 250k miles.

Believe I'm the 3rd owner of a 2007 GS 350. Bought from my wifes parents who have had it since it was 30k miles. I bought it with 160k and have successfully drove almost 100k miles with little to no issues.... engine runs strong transmission shifts good.... I have done all the work myself. Oil, coolant flushes, trans flush, breaks, rotors, rear shocks, lights, air filter and that's about it. 3rd gear started to kick 5k Mike's ago but only if you trying to race... my wife found this issue but I think it just needs another flush... was 100k ago.. and you don't notice if driving normal. Any thing I should start worrying about? Lol
