They are committed to rectifying the situation. I won't mention the Dealership.....for now...at least until everything is rectified.

latest update.....inspection of Right damaged wheel turns out there is cracks on Inner Barrel.....
So dealer is waiting for final word to pay for A New Wheel......

In their inspection they happened to look at Left rear wheel and found 2 cracks in the inner barrel....

So let me ask you guys that know wheels ......What Causes Cracks in the Inner Barrel?

Is this common? or not so common? I hardly drive this .....typically only on the weekends.....and the roads in Orange County Irvine area...are generally smooth......The dealer blames it on the 25 series profile tire......

Let's hear some feedback...

Ty

You shouldn't get cracks AT ALL on an OEM wheel.

Are you running OEM or Aftermarket?
If Aftermarket, or OEM, sounds like you were running the car with underinflated tires, which caused extra stress on the inner Barrel.

But if it's OEM, they should be covering it. It shouldn't just crack.

Did the Valve Spring Recall on my GS last week they kept my car for 3 days
The loaner was a brand new 2011 ES 350 with 5 Kilometers...
End up putting 150 Kilometers on it and they call me yesterday looking for the key (fob).
Told them to ask the service advisor...Lolol

Cheers.

I dropped mine off today. Got an 2010 RX350, base model, no navi I was kinda hoping to play around with the next gen nav, but oh well.. They will be doing the valve spring recall, change oil + cabin and engine filters. Then fix my central dash speaker, it makes a horrible noise, can't listen to any songs / radio. And hopefully they will fix the dash squeaks, that if they'll able to reproduce the problem. What is strange is that, they told me that the car will be ready on Monday. Today is Saturday, not sure how they'll be able to fix everything in one day? Unless, they are working Sundays?

Took the IS350 in for recall work and got to puts around in a 2010 IS250 over the weekend. It was pretty basic as far as options go but the Bluetooth Audio was badass. Way better to use that for Pandora off my phone than an FM transmitter. Also made me really want to get a GS350 with the gray interior. Just looked so classy compared to all black and I've always thought I'd hate anything but black interior.
