Bad Accident this morning

I had a very similar accident with same damage on the front end. Car was totaled. Repair estimates were above $40k. Definitely totalled.
yeah, obviously since this was just this morning I haven't heard anything from any of the insurance adjusters. From what the police officer said about the replacement cost of just the airbags....$12,000, plus from what I've seen on here before about the price of our headlight assemblies....$1,500/each, I can't imagine it's not totaled. Both the front end and back end are smashed to pieces and the interior looks like garbage from where all the airbags came out. Not to mention how long it would take to get it back to "normal"....rental car cost would be approaching thousands of dollars as well.
I would like another GS...just depends on what they give me. Doing preliminary estimates on KBB, NADA and Edmunds...looks like the retail value of the car is ~$40,000....had all options except ML and dynamic cruise, plus I only had about 9,600 miles on it. Looking at my vehicle registration..."assessed value" on there says 39,300...so I would be happy with that. Not sure if it's good or bad that all three involved in this accident had State Farm. I'm hoping for the best.

From a dealer response today about a 2011 GS460...."the GS460 has become a special order car". Whatever this means. Could mean Edmunds.com is right about a revised GS4x0 coming in Spring of 2011 though....

You might check Rohrman's backround....I've read some shady things about his dealerships. Lexus in Fort Wayne is priced high as the closest competition is 100 miles away in Indy, but I'm sure it's still very negotiable, as not much goes on up there. I have family who could check it out for you, or I will be there 3rd week in December if you can wait. It's about a 4.5 hour drive for you. You seem to be taking this well.....better than I would....

More photos from today. I went to the body shop to rip out my sill plates, console tray and license plate. State Farm is going to have a check cut for me today. They gave me the "retail" value from NADA's website, which valued the car at $40,425...by far the highest of all the websites I checked. Plus 6% tax refund and some licensing/registration fees were refunded. I'm happy with that amount.

car hunt is going OK. 460 is special order only...have no time for that. and there's only 1 2011 460 out there, but my dealer thinks it was a special order for a customer already and 1 2010 that is on the west coast....cost prohibitive to even have transported, plus it's been sitting on the lot for a year. the used 460 I was looking at must not exist anymore...dealer won't call me back.
will probably just stick with a 350. now the big question....go with RWD or AWD again? also, what's everyone's thoughts on the "Deep Sea Mica" color. Our dealer doesn't have any vehicles on their lot in that color and I've never personally seen it yet. they have access to blue/black combos....1 RWD with ML and several AWD w/o ML.
