Default Car is in the shop

Freezing rain Saturday night, Sunday morning thought it was safe to drive. As soon as I backed out of the driveway the car started to slid sideways down a hill then hit and hopped a curb. Side airbags deployed 2 lugs popped out, got an estimate from the shop for around 9K and said that they so backed up with other accidents that it’s going to take over 2 weeks to fix.

Hope there isnt any frame damage. Hitting a curb that hard enough to pop lug nuts is pretty damn hard hit, especially if 1/4 of your rim is missing!

That looks bad... glad that I live in non-snowing area. Hope you get your car back soon.

Lexus cars have no frame. They use unibody construction. I think Ford Crown Victoria and its twins are the only framed cars left out there.

I am aware they are unibody on virtually all cars and also many softroader SUVs. Frame, unibody, chassis whatever you want to call it, you know very well what I meant. If you want to get technical about it there is still a frame under there a SubFRAME.
