WOULD A 2010 IS250 NAVI CD/DVD WORK IN A 06 GS300? AND IF SO WHAT DO I HAVE 2 DO?

i would like to know if a take the disc out of my navi and insert a 2010 is250 navi dvd ,would it work/

No, don't believe so cause the navi is a different generation so it wouldn't work right.

2010 is250? i don't even think it has dvd. i believe 2010 is all hdd

The 2006 GS300 has a Gen 4 navigation system, so you'll need a Gen 4 disc. I think the newest ones are now Gen 6?

^ correct. the 06 GS is still gen 4. the 06 IS is gen 5. gen 6 started in 2010.

that is correct...im even selling a gen 4 8.1 disc for cheap (or least i think its cheap) its only 2 years old but cost less than half of my new disc
