Default lol how do you close the sunroof..

Hey guys quick question i got a gs300 and I want to know how do you know when the sunroof is closed the right way.. I know its easy to close it but it seems like you gotta close it exact right way..like every time I go trough a car wash I see some water dripping from the corner of the roof where it tilts up from..I tried to open it fully then hold close to the point where it goes up and lines up with the roof and rubber when you look from inside and outside..but its not closed properly water still drips? i wish it was one touch close..so difficult..lol

Try reinitializing it by holding the open button down and keep holding it down until it stops going through the motions.

Also, the seal may be bad or just needs to be cleaned and lubricated. Wipe it down a bunch of times with silicone grease.

^posted above. i know what you mean. my car was like this until i programmed 1-touch operation. hold the tilt-up button for about 10-15 seconds (should take about this long for it to go down, open, and close)

thanks for info I will try this in the morning..does this program the sunroof? or just a technique to closing it properly..just so difficult I'm pretty sure some of you don't know if your sunroof is closed properly might look close but until you look at the edges and you see little water drips..during car wash and heavy rain.

I had an issue with mine. The one touch would not work. Bad memory in the motor. Dealer replaced under extended warranty.

Hey guys I did the programming but I have to press on the button 2-3 times then it goes auto and I see it closing to the top but there's still a water leak in the corner of the sunroof..where it goes up & down on both left and right side I see water drips when going through car wash...anything else I should try?
