Hi everyone, my name is Karen and as you can see I just registered as a member. I have a 2007 GS350 (Matador Red Met.) that I have had for sometime. Got some small dents and dings that I am trying to get rid of and make the car new again.
I was backing out of my garage when the door decided to stop working and only open part way. I was in a hurry and didn't realize it hadn't gone all the way up and so I continued to back out. The shark fin caught on the door and the back half (closest to the rear window) got pulled up. Is there anyway to attach it securely without taking it to the body shop?
I have the cashmere interior and have a few stains I wanna remove. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of them. They are mainly on the floor near the pedals.
Any help would be great for I prefer to have the satisfaction of doing it myself plus save myself the money instead of taking it in. Happy Holidays!!!

You will have to take the headliner down to see if there is any damage on the underside of the roof. The stain can be removed by a professional detailer. If the damage is really bad turn it in to your insurance it comp so it does not go against you.

I would double check on the insurance, as I do not believe it is covered by Comprehensive, as this was a accident caused by driver. Comprehensive is when it is considered "an act of god, nature, etc",beyond of your control. If your satellite and nav system still work okay and the roof itself is not dented, it might be as simple as putting a coating of clear silicone under it and taping down until the silicone sets.
