That would be called a complete sentence.
Has anyone checked the value of their car lately? Seems like lately mine drops about $500-$1k a month. The recalls are killing the value.

I have problems they cant' fix....including the brakes, which are a bit of a safety concern....the rattles are just *****ing annoying.

You "made fortunes" and are driving an 07 GS 350 that you don't even like? Why not just give it away to charity and spend a tiny portion of that "fortune" on what you like?

I don't think the GS 350 is bad at all. There have been some preventative recalls, but there aren't a whole lot of people with GS 350s breaking down on the road. What specific problems are you having?

I would put any Toyota up against any car out there in the market. Now would i put Lexus up against any car??? NOPE!

Have you seen the list of recalls? Isn't it a little excessive to have all these recalls on this car? They've looked at my car 4 times for the dash repair, do you think the ripped a part my dash one time... I will put money on it that they never did. Any takers on this bet?

As for "fortunes", I'm being realistic here by still driving a car within the means of what I make. I'm no millionaire, but I'm not in debt for the rest of my life just like some college grad.

Has your car actually broken down? I understand not wanting recalls, but these cars are fairly reliable.

By the way, there's no need to bash college grads. There is a lot of hard work and discipline involved in earning that little piece of paper. Let's talk about cars.

/\ wow is that list for real?

Glad I decided to go another route...

I think the GS350 is a nice car, but it has a few too many things to over look. I just did not think it was that many...

I would not say the car is going to break down and all cars have some level of recalls, but it beggs the question why did they not build it correctly the first time.

Like they did with many of the 98-2005 variants of the Lexus Brand.

Not really. Most of those are just informational topics, diagnostics and misc. procedures and not even problems. Every car in the world has a long list of service bulletins like this. No car has ever come off the design board perfect and never will unless perhaps money and the need to innovate become things of the past.

So really, are you going to hold it against Lexus for posting a bulletin about how to clean wiper blades?

that is a list of tsb's not all of those are recalls, that is a list of documented issues and the methods used to correct them. Not every GS made has all of those problems or even experience problems with the parts that are on recall. My car doesn t even have the valve spring recall on it. I had the fuel rails replaced, rack and pinion, and brake caliper pin replacement and never had an issue with any of it. I did have the sunroof rattle however, oh well Lexus replaces it I get to go to the dealer and eat complimentary sandwiches, have drinks and flirt with the hot chicks that work at the desk! Its not that bad!!!

The black soot you see in the tail pipe is not oil. These cars from the factory are tuned so rich that you get all of that black soot all over your exhaust. If someone found a way to hook up and tune an Apexi AFC to these cars, I bet you could get at least 25 more hp just with tuning. Back in the day, I had an 01 Honda Prelude that I purchased new and it ran horribly rich. I purchased a VAFC and with 2 hours of tuning I was able to get about 40 hp just with tuning. Please keep in mind that the Prelude was rated @ 200 hp and the initial dyno tune with AEM CAI and Greddy Evo was only 129 hp at the wheels.

Your probably living with your parents at age 35 and driving around a GS350...hmmm???

Paid cash for my car, you making payments to yours??? Do the math, $45,000 + interest = ??? Your the college educated one here, not me.
No one car's what u make and how u make it, you came on here asking a question, REPHRASE you're question in a matter where people would understand and help a nut like you. If you don't like something, call 1800 lexus help or try to get one of those "that was easy" buttons from staples.
