But it's very dramatic and stylish. It's never bothered me really. I love the way it looks when you open the doors in the dead of night. FYI, though, the lights behind the visors that turn on when you slide the mirror open are standard bright "regular car lights". They work if you're in a real pickle.

The interior lights look nice. I keep a small torch in the armrest. Best of both worlds. I like the tip to use the vanity mirror lights, thanks.

I had Garax 6k bulbs, they are worse then stock bulbs, I am referring to light output on the road. I would suggest getting a fresh set of 4,300k D4S bulbs and see if lighting is improved. I personally myself had the 6k garax they did reduce the light output on the road. But yes it did look nice in the headlight.
Me I am all about seeing where I am driving, not a fan of pink, purple etc etc lights. If i can't see the road clearly thats a problem, even if i have to get rid of something nice to actually see the road I would. Basiclly all I did was change out my low beams to a fresh set of 4,300k Japanese bulbs on ebay (which are in fact OEM for all new lexus now), put me some better high beam bulbs, and nice 4,300k in my fogs.

As someone mentioned already, 4300 bulbs are brighter than 6k. That's probably why the ES was better

When I first got the car it seemed as though those lights were not bright enough but I will try to go back to the old and see what happens.

I HATE the dash, windshield, and sunroof rattles! Oh, and brake squeaks!

Also: AWD vibrations and wobbles....but thats my fault! DF210's and staggered 20's!

good remedy for the sunroof rattle, get some felt and put it to the wind deflector, becuase it's only that metal piece rattling, should work had no problems after that!
