I had the Toyo tires on the GS with my first set of rims and I hated them. They were awful in the rain and the car was all over the place. Not the worst tires but you can do better for the money.
I would go with the new Conti Extreme DWS or Michelin PS2 if you want a summer only tire.

I wouldn't get either. I would pay up for the Michelin PS2s, and if I didn't want to spend that then I'd get the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymettrics which are same price as P Zeros usually.
Not a good time to buy tires now though, both the Bridgestone Potenza S001 and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports will be out in Q1.

I currently have the Toyo T1R on my factory 17" alloys and i think they suck. They are pretty noisy and ride really hard (for a 50 series) since the sidewalls are like rocks but on the flip side it handles good and crispy because it has hardly any sidewall deflection despite even being 50 series tire.

The Michelin PSS (Pilot Super Sports) are being positioned as the successor of the PS2.

best? imho, michelin. especially the ps2 i have on my m3. they are some phenomenal tires. it really handles what i am asking them to do
pay to play
on my gs, i don't give a damn about performance (it pisses me off in comparison to the m3) so the t1r are good for what i need
