Question 20s or 22s on my 06 gs 430

OK I HAVE ALWAYS HAD WHEELS ON ALL OF MY LEXUS, BUT THIS O6 GS 430 I HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS N I LOVE IT (BESIDES THE GAS MILEAGE) BUT REALLY WANT TO THROW SOMETHING ON IT BUT NO TOO SURE..I LOVE THE STAGGERED LOOK N EVEN BETTER WITH 3 PIECE BUT HEAR SUCH NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT 3 PIECE WHEELS FOR A PERSON LIKE ME THAT DOES A LOT OF DRIVING? AND ALSO I REALLY DDNT WANT TO DROP IT BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IF I GO WITH SOMETHING SMALL LIKE 20S I WILL HAVE TO!? WHAT DO YALL PEOPLE THAT HAVE HAD 22S RECOMMEND? I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO?? this has been discussed time and time again. from someone who has had both 20s and 22s on the 3GS i say stick with 20s. if you get the correct tires that keep the same overall diameter as the stock wheels, the wheel gap will be exactly the same. it will look larger because of the smaller sidewall.

all the wheels on my cars have been 2/3 pieces, i never had any problems with them. loved them all actually

for size, i always recommend only 20s on the 3gs, dropped or not dropped. to me 22s are too big and you need a lot of work to make it look right

If you do a lot of driving, I would damn near keep 18s unless you want to go through tires every few months. I wouldn't go larger then 20s.

22s can possibly look good depending on how its done but if you drive a lot I wouldn't recommend it.

only way to really pull off larger rims is to lower the car to make it fit perfect.

also what do you have against 3pc wheels? 3pc wheels are usually very good wheels.
