Batteries for Remote
This might be overkill....
for those of you that might need extra batteries for your remote....
or making a trip to nearest electronics store ...which 50/50 chance they might not have the CR1632....
I found mine at Fry's....with only 1 left on the stand.
Anyhow...I found a package of 5 on amazon for 6.29 free shipping and no tax...from Beach Watch Company....
Good to have extras is my thought...
Cheers

There were a lot of threads about these batteries and where they can be purchased. I bought my batteries from ebay, got a pack of 5 energizer batteries for under $6 shipped. I found this thread with a youtube video of how to replace the battery just incase someone needs it. Check post #19 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...battery-2.html

Both my fobs were dying simultaneously. Managed to find 1 battery at the second Walgreens I visited. Only 1 on the shelf at the second store. Ordered more via Amazon. Whew!

And risk damaging the key? I'm curious how much it cost to get a new key blade.
Yes, my smart *** know to read the manual which said to use a quarter.
My reason for saying that... for me I hardly carry cash and coins is the first I remove from my wallet. I do keep quarters in the car, but not on me. Anyway, I would use the key to get into the car and than use the quarter.
Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas everyone... drive carefully.
