V-Leds in Parking, Puddle & Reverse Lights

I still haven't gotten enough confident to pop the mirror out of the housing with full force. I tried it and put some force on it and the thing won't pop off. Didn't want to put more force on it as it might break. How durable are the clips?

Hey guys, this is what I found out.
I too was very afraid of pulling off my mirrors...so I went by the recommendation of someone on this forum. I took some picture (terrible quality) to help someone else tackle this mod.
The side view mirrors is basically two peices that are held together by 4 screws... your goal is to basically remove the two lower screws of each mirror, just enough to wedge open the two peices so you can pull the puddle light lens down and out. There is a 3rd screw I removed for the first mirror on the upper outer portion of the mirror but I realized on the second mirror I did not realy need to remove it. I did this by myself and it only took 30 minutes for both mirrors but if you had a second person to have the mirror peices wedge while you pull on the lens it could make it easier.
Here are some pictures that may help
I had several screw drivers and chose the best one... it is a tight fit so be careful not to scratch your paint. I used a thin peice of material between my screw driver and the paint, so it would not scratch.
Ignore my terrible grammer on the pic, after you have wedged the two peices of the mirror open ( I used a plastic / rubber body filler spreaders to keep the mirror open), then simply pull the puddle lens housing down....as you can see there is nothing screwing it in place. It simply pops / clicks back in once you have replaced the new LED bulb.
Hope this helps you have more courage to tackle replacing the ugly halogen bulbs

i post clear pix in support of nelmed585's post.
to remove the mirror, pull from the bottom, with the motion upward to disjoint from the hook.
don't pull it too fast or too hard, cause there r wires hook into the mirror.
to re-install the mirror back is relatively easy. insert the hook on the top and snap in the bottom clip. however, it's kinda hard to snap-in the bottom clip, since the mirror's backing is keep moving around. but it's do-able
FYI, replace a side mirror is 750 plus installation and tax. (this is the quote i got from a car-accident i had b4) so don't play with it unless u feel u r okay with it.

Compare stock and V-Leds -
V-Leds 921 - a little bit bigger then stock, but this is not problem since less heat come from LEDs.

You brought this bad boy back from the dead lol. If your talking about the fog lights, they are 5000k HID conversion kit from VLED's. Many sites have them you just have to make sure you get a 9006 bulb size. I don't think they still sell the exact kit he has installed since all i could find is the following..

Below is whats in my car, i started with 4300k Phillips bulbs then moved 6500k and I have some 3000k and 5000k on the way!!

Any HID kit will give you a brighter look you just have to decide what color of bulbs you want. 4300k will match your low beams since they are 4300k as well.
