unless it includes a clear coat, no headlight cleaner kit works well for the long run.

The only kit that comes with one is the Crystal View kit sold at at walmart and kmart.

Last year, on my other car, I bought a rattle can of spar urethane from Home depot and sprayed it on the lights. So far it has prevented the oxidation from coming back. But the paint itself has a tiny bit of amber tint because it is oil based.

Funny..my driver side headlight has been a PITA. First, it was doing the random shut off and the dealer replaced the bulb ($400). Then the driver side headlight stopped working. When I check I realized that the inside of the headlight was full of water from the rain. The dealer gave me a new headlight ($1400) and so far so good. Oh yeah...everything was fixed under warranty luckily

you must have had a bad seal on the light.
Mine only gets a little water vapor and disappears when the sun is out.

My dealer just replaced my pass headlight due to condensation.

Had mine replaced on the driver's side mistakenly. Asked the passenger's side headlamp be replaced due to condensations but the dealer got confused or something somehow and replaced the driver's side instead. I'm getting the passenger's side replaced as soon as the backordered part comes in..Do it!

My 06 headlights still look new. It seems hot sunny climes have their own detriments compared to cold snowy ones (ac backup anyone?)
