What Modifications should I make to my GS 350?
Hi all - I'm new to the forum, and it looks great. I just got a 2007 GS 350, and I'm looking to make some modifications to it. I'm just curious what some of the more popular / neat / cool modifications are. I'm looking to spend maybe $2000-$3000, and wanted to get some input as to what everyone thinks is pretty neat. I've read on here about upgraded headlights, adding lights to the side mirrors (I think - you know, the ones they started in 2008), and audio upgrades.
I'm happy with my rims, car color, tint, etc. but wanted to see what else you guys do the car that really adds some class and funtionality, or just good looks!
Thanks in advance - I look forward to engulfing myself in my new Lexus!!!

Ha - Thanks for the advice - I don't need to spend $2k-$3k, I just have that number in mind if there is something really neat that is mentioned. So the headlights are a definit eh? When you say "drop it", what exactly do you mean? Do you happen to have any thread links that give a good starter's guide to dropping the car? Also - I'm pretty happy with the rims on the car, so I'm not too interested in getting new rims...

HID fog lights and LED parking lights. The stock filament bulbs in these locations are just nasty to look at and the stock fog lights are nearly useless for actually cutting through fog. I recommend against 8000K bulbs in either location unless you don't particularly care about light output.
I cannot recommend the folks over at http://www.kbcarstuff.com (XenonDepot) more for your lighting mod needs. They have repeatedly gone above and beyond the call of duty with helping me out.
I am currently using the XenonDepot Xtreme 3000K HID kit in my fogs.

And the Putco T-Type Nichia LED in my parking lights.

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but eventually I want to shoot and post some photos to showcase these new parking light LEDs from XenonDepot. They have a great colour and are very bright.

Thanks for the info BinaryJay - I'm looking at that right now. Sounds like lights can really add some nice flair to it, and are functional as well. IXI187IXI - I think my question really stems more from the fact that I don't even know what is out there and available to mod, so I'm just curious what others have done. Don't worry - I'll end up only doing what I like, but I don't even know what the options are so how can I make a decision if I don't know my options? I'm just excited to see what's out there
