Default Hydroplane problem on gs350 awd

I have a GS350 AWD dropped on BC coilover with stock wheels and tires. Over the past couple weeks it has been hydroplaning on the freeway like crazy. It hydroplane so much that I'm driving 50 to stay in control. Any recommendation what I should do or what the problem is?

hydroplaning is caused by tires and not the car's hight. I would recommend to check your tires if they are worn and not a lot of tread or groove left on them.

I would check your tires also. I assume you had your TOE corrected after you lowered the car? Its possible you wore out the tires from being lowered.

yea i agree. the tread is probably really low on the tire. either that or if there directional tires, someone rotated the tires to the wrong side.

ok maybe that's true. I'll take it to firestone get another alignment and have them check out my tires. They said my camber is a little off the last time I took it in.

Your mileage ?
I also think that this is caused by tyres worn.
GS-AWD handle very nice in rain/snow at high speed.
It goes straight forward not mentioning road conditions.
Like abrams tank ^^

Tread depth on the tires, if it is low, will increase the likelyhood of hydroplaning. So will vehicle speed. Replace your tires and slow down.

Check alignment and tires like everyone.. It might due cause of car height too. Just slow down and drive with flashers on, that what I do. I take my time, I rather go slow than getting into an accident which can cause more time.

I also think it's the tire thats wearing down or the tire quality.

If i have to than I would, but it hasn't rain that much maybe its the stock tires. Only have 20k on the car, I'll see what the tech has to say.

I don't know what stock tires you have, but my car came with stock Bridgestone EL42 runflats. Those tires score a 4.2/10 on hydroplaning resistance on tire rack.

I found they hydroplaned a lot at 50mph. I got rid of them immediately (car was only 4 weeks old when i changed the tires) and I got Michelin PS2s.

PS2s have more grip in the rain at 90mph than the stock tires did at 50mph.
