ahhh i see whats going on.lol
Just be careful cause the US spec GS460 is diff to the middle east sepc GS460, so an ECU for the US spec wont work on the ME spec and vice versa. Again its the whole direct injection bullschit.
Im sure u guys already knew this, but wanted to throw this out there just in case.
designo, hate to burst ur bubble dude, but id be very weary of anyone here in the UAE (uni chip included) that can "tune" your cars ecu. Approach with caution.
With that said there is one dude who can do it, but i dont know his name, and only works w sheikhs. Costs a pretty penny too. If however you do come across this international man of mystery hell be able to tune the schit out of ur car.
Either way good luck to you both, and im willing to help out whenever designo. Just hit me up when u come down to the UAE
Umm not really, the 170K is the price of the car as is from TOP SECRET. (includes Car, BBS, TOMS Advox, GTR brakes as well as the time and effort goin into this project + ridiculous markup)
Im pretty sure u can do custom fabricate piping and brakets, mount the supercharger and tune the ecu at a reputable shop for less than 10,000USD

Im no expert on the matter but to the best of my knowledge when boosting the motors on these cars whether turbo or supercharger. In order to not blow it up or have it run like **** you would need to add a aftermarket management computer and "piggyback" it with the factory ECU to control fuel/air ratios, tuning, etc,. I have a friend that has a 2jz swap in a 92 Cressida thats putting out over 500hp, and a 240sx with the same swap putting out even more than him. These guys are alot more knowledgeable about it than me but I must admit its ridiculous. Im sure someone will chime in that will explain it better. I asked Passnu about his management out of curiosity because I have heard that our cars ECU is hard to mess with. Lexus I guess trying to make it more difficult to swap motors from Japan into American based Lexus models.
