Anybody like their gs 350?
I just got a 2007 GS 350 and I'm new to this club. Most of what I read here is about problems and people that are disappointed in their cars, Did I make a mistake in purchasing this vehicle?

I just purchased a CPO 2007 GS350 and LOVE it! I had a 2006 GS430 that made more trips back to the dealership for annoying little problems then a Range Rover I think. But so far my GS350 has been amazing. I think I'm still amazed by the MPGs. Very impressive.
ok, let me go into more detail...
You are now a member of a forum full of great people who scrutinize every inch of any car they every have owned. This car is no exception. I think that you made a great purchase. Will you have little qwerks? probably, but will you have any more than say a 2007 BMW 530, Mercedes E350, AUDI A6, Infinti M? I don't think so. I think that even my last GS was an amazing car.
You should get years of fun out of yours, just don't get too invloved with the fact finding with any vehicle or you are bound to find issues you never knew existed.

But facts are facts people will find flaws in their cars and theres only so many times people can post how perfect their car is before we all stop viewing their threads lol.

I love mu 07 350 also. I had a IS300 that was lost in an accident. I was sold on Lexus due to my IS literally saving my sons life. I got the 350 over the 430/460 due to mpg. I don't have the ML stereo but thats o.k. with me. Welcome aboard.

I love my GS 350 too. Got a CPO '07 last May. No regrets with the purchase.
It would have been cool to have the 460 for the variable ride suspension or the 450h to have a hybrid, but the 350 was the best compromise for initial purchase price and larger trunk.

As you may have seen, my GS just stranded me and could've killed myself and my family.
Do I love my GS? Yes. Would I buy it again? Probably--though the F10 and Pana tempt me... I honestly enjoy the car, the power, the tech, the reliability before the recall... Cars have problems and so long as they are resolved to a level I am happy with, I'll put up with them.
Prior to my dealership taking my car apart for a problem that could've never even occurred, my GS was rock solid. Never missed a beat or had any problems. I am confident that my car will return to that state once the problems caused by the recall are taken care of.

I bought a 2003 gs300 6 months ago... I love it so much that I decided to buy a 2nd GS. I just bought a 2008 GS350 2 weeks ago and I love it even more.
A lot of car owners find something wrong with their car and tell their friends about it. Their friends tell other people the trend goes on... Then you hear buyer saying "well I wanted that car but I heard from someone that this car has problems." Don't let anyone stop you from buying what you want. Because every car will have problems, but sometimes some will have more problems than others. It's a gamble, cause you buy a brand new car or newer year doesn't mean it's not going to break down. All cars will breakdown at some point. Get a warranty and your set.

The car is a solid piece of machinery...I enjoy driving it everyday.
Are there imperfections? Yes, but overall I am very pleased.
The Lexus delaership experience has been quite good for me as well, completing the package.
In comparison, my experience with GM and Volvo are not not near Lexus level in either product or service.
