i was just wondering some of us like to ride low,and other dont care. So lets see how low can u go... driving on a daily base... here some pic from the web..
how does this air bag system ride in comparison to traditional spring/strut assembly? My GX has rear air suspension from factory but I personally think it rides like dirt. Maybe its just the lexus air suspension...
Also for guys that are on air, do you worry about alignment going off each time you raise and slam your cars?
keep in mind a lot of people on air bags do not generally drive that low.
That's fair. But I don't understand why they drop completely when they are parked. Why can't they just set it up to look normal when parked, as opposed to broken. The LS460 with the optional air suspension looks normal when parked. So do all OEM air suspension setups.
^^^ well obviously some people like to push the bar and make their rides look abnormal and amazingly low. The factory air suspension on the LS also takes 5 minutes to air up and down. Some if us just like people to break their necks when we pull up!!!

thats 2 totally different system. you dont have the option to do that on an oem air suspension.
the whole point is for looks. if they were to keep it the same height, why even get bags when you can accomplish the same thing with coils?
Never understood why people drop a sedan so low! I can understand doing so on a sports car or nice sports coupe, but a family sedan?
Count me in with the group that doesn't believe a sport/luxury car should be dumped.
I will admire those that are but I wouldn't do it. We gotta have something different to look at!

The point of air suspension isn't to make the car look ghetto. It's to give a better ride. The air suspension in the LS460 sport is superb. Offers comfortable ride around town, but on the highway, the cars lowers by an inch to offer greater stability and composure at speed.
