eheheh
heh
hehhhhh.........

I guess I made the right decision not to get the valve spring recall done yet.
gonna wait till all the dust settles.

toyota seems to have a lot of fuel delivery related problems with their recent crop of engines.

Yeah I waited as well as I haven't had any issues. Most issues seem to be here where we use crappy ethanol....

What a way to bring in the new year..lol

Edit

Seems 430/450h/460 is not affected nor IS 200/220/300 or IS F.

Certain 2006-2007 Lexus GS 300/350, 2006-2009 IS 250 and 2006-2008 IS 350

geez..one more thing to add to the list.

My CPO 07 350 AWD has (within the last year) been in for brakes/rotors, dash, valve springs, brakes again and now this. Pretty embarassing!

Common guys look at the bright side, we dont have to put miles in our cars for a couple days and free gas, all for a trouble we havent run into yet :P

So, it's only 2006 - 2007 models that have this problem?

Interesting how we just had another thread with somebody stuck at the side of the road with fuel all over the place.

It's kind of a pain for me to get to my preferred Lexus dealer, but if this equals another tank of gas, 5 cappuccinos and free lunch I can live with it. The most disappointing fact about this is that there isn't a free new expensive part subject to wear and tear involved.

Now, I like to take advantage of getting other things inspected for free while they are in there for a recall as the SAs seem to be a bit more generous as they feel bad that you have to be there at all. I'm not sure where this sensor is located. I imagine that they have to remove pretty much nothing except perhaps a few covers to do this recall, though. Any wear and tear items in the vicinity?
