I have not received the letter yet, but after calling the 800 number I listed above, they said I was on the batch of letters that are going out. Give them a call and ask them. They just verified my name/address/phone number, pulled me from their database and told me I was on their mailing list. I suppose since I bought mine new from Lexus in 2006/2007, they added me in back then.

I do not have an extended warranty.

I am supposed to get just the extended powertrain warranty and the $1500 useless certificate.

I called lexus hq a month ago, and I tried to trade the powertrain warranty for $500. I told them I don't need all the other junk.

they said no.


Does anyone know if the $1500 voucher has an expiration date?

I have a lease, expiring in June. I got the $1500 new Lexus certificate a couple of months ago. I do not intend to have the valve spring recall done, but the gas leak one may be more of a safety concern?

I bought the car new in 2008, and I still did not get any certificates nor a gift card. I did get the recall letter a few months ago. I guess I should better give them a call eh?

I'll try to call them again a few weeks later.
I got shot down last time I tried to trade my warranty and voucher (both of which I have not received yet either)

I'm coming in new here. We just picked up an 07 GS350 last night, CPO. Should these recalls have been done already? Is there any reason we should be calling the 800 number?

Hey y'all, so I just found out that you had to have been the registered owner in August 2010 to receive the GC. I just bought my 07 350 in Dec. 2010, had the valve spring recall completed mid-Jan 2011, and called the 800 # today to inquire about the GC and they said no dice b/c I wasn't the owner in August.

Anyone else been told the same thing?...

ps. Been a long time member, but I don't post too often. I usually get all the info and answers I need from searching the forum. Oh, and just went from my 2G 400 to the 3G 350 AWD. Still got my 2G as well. Love them both!
