Rear lamps MOD for NON-US Lexus GS
In American GS no fog lights, but the inner section shine as parking lights. So initially the car is made for the American market and we thanks to European laws (which are not allowed to use the four-marker lamps) car loses its original condition.
Ordered internal lamp section -
Toyota Part Numbers
81591-30220
81581-30280
81585-30280 (2 x wires)

hah. I'm slow.
He removed his rear fog light and installed the American version.
I don't mind a rear fog light, but the way it was integrated asymmetrically into the right side is horrible.

Thank you guys!
I know it would be interesting notice about my rear lights.
And maybe even helpful for some GS-owners from Europe.
Actually I can't understand why Lexus had to do this.
Imho just because they didn't plan to sell GS in europe.
From the beginning the developers did not include fog lights as standart feature.
And when Lexus decided to sell GS in Europe they just made simple thing.
(First picture - Fog+Fake LED)
Fake LED - is the worst thing.
If I were "Lexus" I would make fogs seperatly from stock light. Somewhere in bumper for example. (Third pic - Like in FORD Focus )
And the most interesting notice -
Today european cars have 4 LED and even more.
(Second pic)
So it means that european traffic laws have been changed recently. Or smth else..
And from now on it's legal to have 4, 6 or even 8 LED parking lights in rear.
So why Lexus don't have fogs?
In America fog also exists. Maybe not for 45 days in a year like in London.
But I have seen on youtube huge car crash with 200 cars somewhere in US.
So it means fog lights have to be in US cars too.
In Russia fog exists just couple day in a year.
And fog lights are useless in snow and rain. Some drivers think it's helpful.
But they are called "fogs". Not "snow" or "rain" lights.
So i don't understand such people who use them in snow.
It's useless and by the way blinds other drivers in the rear.
And honestly - I hate such drivers with their "fogs on" in snow or rain.

I think fog lights, at least in stock form on most cars, are useless in every way. They became a differentiating feature between "low end" and "high end" model trims just for aesthetics.
Back when they used yellow lights, they had some benefit in cutting the fog. White HID fogs are somewhat useful for lighting the road up a bit more but do nothing when it's actually foggy.
Best of both worlds is to put yellow HIDs in the fogs. To this day, I can tell that yellow fogs are still not considered "stylish" but I think they look great on my black car and I still catch people checking my lighting out at night at stop lights. They're just not used to seeing the ground so lit up with yellow light.
P.S. I also agree the tail lights on the 3GS are great looking. They still look fresh even after all of this time. In contrast, the tail lights on the IS are starting to look a bit gimmicky. I've never been a fan of the lights with distinct points of light in them which I believe Infiniti started doing first?
While similar in design to the GS, I find myself really hating these tail lights. They a bit too anime eyeballs with eyelashes to me:

I was actually a bit confused at the concept of rear fog lights at first because we have no such thing here in the US since they all light up. Now I understand that the inner rear light is linked to the front fog lights turning on so that's why you call them rear fog lights
