If they work in my wheels and little *** tires I can t imagine why they wouldn t work in yours

I wanna go with the tires but with the dealer telling me about the room I just don't know...

If I do go with putting them in the spare will that turn the light off?

^^^ yep but you will defeat the purpose of having them. My tires are tiny and stretched and I have no issues your dealer is probrably just trying to not have one of their techs screw it up

It may be the rims that are the issue.

OP what rims are you putting these in? have any pics of the rims you can post? Personally I would want them in my rims, forget about the TPMS sensor I rather worry about the rims

I have seen recently on E-Bay. 4 x Sensors = ~300$

I bought used for 2nd rims and tyres. For about 100$ for 4 sensors.

Take a look at E-Bay. Probably used could be found for very nice price.

I called America tires, they said it is $100 to install and reset each time weather it is for 1 sensor or 4 sensors, so I guess I will order 4 and have them install at the same time rather than trying to find out which one is out of the battery and just replace that one.

Maybe you can sacrifice one of them and open it up and see if it's possible to open one, replace the battery and close it up again with a reasonable expectation that it will still work. I still think it's ridiculous that they are designed to be thrown away when the batteries die. Perhaps there are other reasons for this, such as other parts of it are expected to be pretty much worn out by the time the batteries go anyway.

battary could be replaced. I didn't do it by my self, but have seen some photos. http://www.club-lexus.ru/faq/index.php?article=630

Also I can say that there are several part numbers for TMPS. It depends on year of your car.

42607-50010 07.2006 - 09.2007
42607-50011 06.2009 - ...
