Bluetooth is an industry standard. Lexus' bluetooth implementation should adhere to that standard. Logic dictates that for, at the bare minimum, placing and receiving phone calls that it will work with just about anything. The fact that Lexus has a "compatibility list" really bothers me. Especially if you look it up on older cars, because they have like 4 year old phones on the list and nothing more recent, which of course, all work just fine as well.
That is, unless the phone happens to be something that they really did a horrible job implementing bluetooth on.

How did you guys transfer your phonebook to the car?? I have the phone paired and the transfer phonebook option selected on the NAV.. it tells me to transfer from the phone but I can't find the option to do that on the EVO... anyone know how it's done?

Just did this the other day with my 2006 gs300 and HTC EVO...go to the market and download the free "Bluetooth File Transfer" application. Once you have selected the data transfer on your car, start the app, then selet more options and do send contacts. Worked like champ. You can find this if you search the web as well.
