It was. Bought it the same time as the car. Also found out the warranty company is paying for only 34% and the dealer is covering 21% more to make it the 50%. And I found out I can't complain to Lexus USA as they arn't the ones who get the cars to Hawaii. It's Servco pacific, who ownes the Lexus/Toyota dealerships.

It doesn't cover damages caused by the blocked leak. By that same reasoning the Reg warranty wouldnt cover accidental damages caused by that plugged a/c pipe.

They have my car now. I'm trying to correct who's going to pay for this still.

Thank you. And that is why I'm writing them a letter about this. It's bogus on how little they want to cover.

I would not even drop a dime out of pocket for this kind of work, u better call them on get on top of they're heads, get a manager there if needed. Don't let them slide also mention how lexus value dropped because off all these recalls etc etc that you are suffering as it is.

Here's a quick update. I would write more but just so fed up at the moment.

I paid $630. They covered 34%(warrenty) and 16% (dealership) for goodwill. I had extended warrenty, but this is not covered. I was little over 2 months out of warrenty. And driven about 20k something miles.

So they get done with my car. Tell me I can pick it up. I go do that. I complain that this should've been covered being that they could see how long this water damage has been going on. And that I never knew about it happening because it was all under the floor mats and 90% of it was in the back floor. They said they'll look into it.
I wote on the reciept that I agreed to pay the money only because I didn't feel safe in leaving my car there any longer.
So I start to load up my car. I see tiny ants on the inside of my car. After checking out the whole inside, its all over the inside. back seats and even the console. I'm without words. I show the them the ants. They said I can leave my car there and they will get rid of the ants. "This happens because of the water" they tell me. I tell them I never had ants. This is because you had my car in parts in someplace that HAS ants.
2 days later, they had "bombed" my car and I get it back.

I'm still mad and this is over two weeks later. Oh, I got a email that tells me they think it was fair on what they paid. And no more discounts. And they removed the ants at no extrea charge.

LMAO removed the ants at no extra charge... WOW... That sounds like Westside Lexus in Houston telling me its a coincidence that my parking sensor failed when they removed the bumper.
