FOR all of you who were planning to pack up your oldies tapes and go shopping for a 2011 car, there is bad news: you’re too late. According to experts who monitor the automotive market, the last new car to be factory-equipped with a cassette deck in the dashboard was a 2010 Lexus.

ok so it was the SC 430, the oldest remaining model. and I guess the SC is gone for 2011, quietly discontinued...
anyway, the only connection is I'll bet the GS is the 2nd to last model to have a tape deck.. heh.

That's wild that they even still had them. I could believe sitting in a GS and it had a cassette player....who uses those things still? Lol
And it doesn't flow very well with the center entertainment area

to place the key? i never take my key out my pocket thats the beauty about the keyless entry and engine start.
i think they should have made something else or just a covered cubby or something.
