Default 20" wheels question, please advice

Hi,

I've put on 20s (iforged daytona) on my GS300 for the last few months now. I've noticed that at around speed of 65mph or above, I got some vibrations. Look like it's from the front wheels. Is it normal for a GS on 20s to get these type of vibrations?

If it is not normal, what are the steps that can be taken to eliminate it.

Thanks for your help.

We need more info, are you lowered, do you have rwd, or awd. The wheels could be out of balance, could need an alignment and worn tires uneven, wheel torqued down wrong, any number of issues could give you a vibration. To better answer your question, no 20s should not make your car vibrate. I have 20s with stretched tires, lowered with negative camber and have no vibrations.

it's an rwd. I am lowered on tanabe NF210. I just recently replaced all tires and did the balance and still have the vibration. I didn't have the vibration when I was running on 19s. These are used wheels; maybe the old owner had the same issue that why he sold them.

so what do you think is my best bet; will the wheel work place able to fix the issue?

You should be able to see a bent rim on the balance machine, it will wobble. You may also need hub rings to make sure your riding hubcentric if the center bore on the wheel is larger than the hub center ring you may get a shimmy in the wheel make sure the rim bore is 60.1.

They do have hub rings on them. I might have to take them all off and bring to the credible wheel shops for them to take a look. Thanks guys!
