It's not worth the money to get it CERTIFIED. I was force to get it certified to get a lower rate. Pay $1000 more to get it certified, I regret paying the extra cost. They don't do sh*# to the car beside giving the car a detail. The certified warranty only cover the engine and power tran not like the factory warranty which cover everthing bumper to bumper.
I agree. I did not have a 'certified' GS either, yet the car was flawless when i bought it, a 2006, at 2 years old and 20,000 miles. And I had plenty of warranty work done, including resurfacing the rotors, the usual dashboard rattles, and all the recalls of course. Even roadside assistance when I stupidly killed the battery. Of course now the GS is 5 year old, and there is no more protection so I expect to get hosed when something horribly complicated and expensive goes wrong. At least if I am to believe consumer reports who specifically rates the 2006 GS AWD with poor reliability. Idiots.
thanks i think im going to start an offer at 30,000 and not pay any higher than 32000 OTD. I just hate the haggling process, I just want to give you an OTD price and you either take it or not!!
Keep in mind this car is in its Sixth model year now, and was never very popular compared to the 5 series, Infinity M, E-class etc. Don't even haggle. Just tell them $30 large, cash, take it or leave it. No one else is going to walk into the showroom with more money for this specific car.

true that. there isn't a high demand for this car.
so you shouldn't act like you really want the car either.

it looks like it has ML. I can barely see the logo there.
Naw that car ain't got ML, but like I said before low ball them first, and if not just walk out. The other thing to see is if they will install stuff for free and it is a RWD car so it is a buyable car where it is located. If you have 20K its still enough to make them see that you want the car. The true deal breaker is the no ML but that should make the car right around 31,000K which is reasonable since the car is certified, which in my opinion I would keep, and I though the warranty covered most of the same items covered by factor!
Couldn't get it. I started at 30 and ended at 32,000OTD. They dealer said they could do 37,000. Whaaaaack I was excited to get this too, time to keep lookin

wait 37,000 what dollars, I thought the car was $33,995
I got my car from South Bay Lexus. Who did you deal with? You might have better purchasing power getting a brand new one. More trunk money, incentives, etc.
