Folks, i have an unusual question here. Does anyone know what car seats (e.g. Radians, graco, chicco) will fit three across in the back of my 2007 GS 350? This is for a newborn infant, a 4 yr old, and a 6 yr old.
It will be cheaper than getting a new car.

I don't think you can do it safely, regardless of brand. Three booster seats are very tight back there, but the infant seats I've seen are all too wide to accommodate two boosters next to them.
I would also consider trunk size and the inevitable scratches, scuffs, smudges, spills and general mayhem that your back seats are going to suffer. The GS just isn't a very good kid hauler.
If I had three, I would serve my time in an SUV and come back with a GS-F in a few years.

It will be impossible for you to fit 3 child seats back there. Let alone, compromise the safety of your loved ones. You should look at the option of upgrading your vehicle to something more family friendly. Sometimes, you gotta let go of things for yourself and put your family first. On a second note, the Pilot can accommodate 3 child seats on the second row. I've already tried with my 3yr old son and his two cousins who are 2 and 5 yrs older.

3 seats??? In the back of a GS??? I had 1 baby and I got rid of my GS and got an LS460 and got the wife a 2011 Murano LE just to hold the stuff for one baby. I couldnt imagine trying to fit 3 in the back seat and put 3 babies worth of stuff in the pathetic trunk in the GS. I say dump the GS and get a used LS460. Its the best excuse you are going to get to get yourself a new car. My wife was asking me to try to get an SUV. I told her I would rather a sedan. Next thing you know I am looking at S class Benzs and Lexus LS460. I think the GS days are over

I don't know. My brother has 3 child seats in the back of his Range Rover Sport, so it may be possible. I don't know which car is wider. And he didn't have to specially select narrow seats, he just added seats as he added kids.

Just to close out the thread here, I went to a local Baby Gear center, got some assistance/help and learned that the answer is a resounding YES but with only certain car seats. The narrowest car seats on the market today are the Sunshine Kids Radian Series. A pair of those (one each outboard) plus a Baby Trend or Chicco, or Graco Snugride 30 in the center will work well. Each car seat is independently secured. The latch system helps greatly!
The Radians are among the most expensive car seats on the market $250 - $299 each and will go up to 60 or 80 lbs depending on the model you get. The Chicco's are also expensive, about $200. Combined, you are looking at nearly $800 in car seats alone. But in the long run, it is still cheaper than going out and buying a new car.
Hopefully this information will help others out there having the same dilemma.
