Default TSW Wheels fitment question

Looking at Tsw 17" Vortex wheels for my 06 GS but wheel guy says they come in 45 offset as opposed to stock 40 offset . Wife drives the car mostly and wondering if this is enough difference to worry about . Thnx .

You referring to the offset or the wheel , stock wheels are butt ugly and a pain to clean .

Wondering about the total width difference with going to an 8 in wide over stock 7.5 . Like the 17 for her , much cheaper tire and wheel prices and little better ride .

You should be fine without having to do any mods or having it sticking out past the fenders. I believe you are only gaining 1/4 inch width overall.

If you want to reference, i have TSWs as well 20x8.5 +40 and 20x10 +40 and it doesnt stick out past the fenders. Hope this helps!

Thnx, 1/4 is what he estimated , not sure if TSW doesn't have the wheel in 40 or he just can't get it . Probably order them next week .

Check TSW's website for all sizes and availability. If you have a Discount Tire in your area I would get it through them because they price match and if they don’t fit they will make it right with exchange.

I have an 08 AWD w/ 17" OEM wheels. According to everything I've learned so far, they are 17 X 7.5 w/ 40mm offset. Is that correct?

What about the OEM 18" wheel, is it 18 X 8 w/40 offset?

You can check sewellparts.com for rim specs on your particular rim/style. This is what I've found:

Size: 17 x 7.0 inches
Bolt Pattern: 5-114.3
Offset: 32 mm
Weight 29.65 lbs - 13.45 Kilograms
Accepts TPMS Sensors

Size: 18 x 8 inches
Bolt Pattern: 5-114.3
Offset: 45 mm
Weight 27.65 lbs - 12.54 Kilograms
Accepts TPMS Sensors
