Default Wheel Spacer Help

Hey Guys, I'm trying to fit my Work Varianza T1's from my Acura TL on my Lexus GS 350 and the only problem is the front barely rubs the calipers. The following are the specs on my rims:

front 20x8.5 +38mm offset A disc Tires 235x30x20
rear 20x9.5 + 45mm offset O disc Tires 255x30x20

My question is, what spacer should I go with and what would be the safest fitment without having to do any fender mods?

Also, I will be lowered on BC Coilovers or Tein CS.

Thanks for the help.

Jason

Is your gs350 AWD? If so, you may want to do a different tire set up.

Its RWD. I searched the wheel spacer threads but they are a bit confusing to me since I have never had to use spacers before and I would love to use the rims I currently have. They were expensive plus the pirelli pzero nero tires weren't cheap either.

I believe that all you need to do is measure the distance between the tire and the fender to determine the spacer size. I think 20 mm = 1 inch.

Hubcentric for sure. I don't want any wobbling or vibrations. I just want to make sure I get the correct size. Anybody else have some experience with spacers that can chime in? Should I get the same size for the rear to even it out?

I actually had to do this with the same rim...5mm is what you need and make sure hubcentric. I didnt have any vibrations when I used mine. Just make sure you get quality spacers and not something cheap.

If your going to lower the car your going to need a spacer in the rear also to balance them out. Best to lower the car first then decide on spacers. I have a pic of my car lowered in the wheel thread with my old winter set up and spacers on the rear (20 mm) so you can see what that looked like.

Anything below 15mm means replacing studs right?

^yes anything below 15mm yes because they dont mfg the bolt on. Some run 5mm with out the extended bolts but I wouldnt suggest it.

I have ran 20,15,10 & 5s with no vibrations at all. The 20&15 where ichiba v2 the 10s ichiba v1 require longer studs pressed into the hub and the 5s are h&r and are for sale. 25mm = 1 inch pm me if your interested in the 5s the 10s require longer studs and they are already pressed into my hub.

Thanks for all the advice. So, the 5mm would work but I probably could get away with the 15mm since 25mm = 1 inch. When I say they barely rub, I meant the wheel will not turn when the lugs are tightened but the wheel hub is up against the rotor. So maybe I should go with 10's or 15mm? Thoughts?

@Ikapimp216 I will let you know once I figure out what I need. Working on getting my BC coilovers from a vendor now.
