If you are willing to ship the seat, I had the same thing happen and I have a shop in town that sewed in a new preferated piece of leather. Although its a tad lighter, I no longer have a hole in my rear seat. It even could be that if i cleaned my seats, they would match.

If you need any more details, hit me up... FYI to get that panel replaced, it ran me about $150.

I would just wait a month, and keep an eye out on Ebay, these pop up from time to time. usually much cheaper then buying it brand new.

Thanks guys. I found a bottom seat from a GS350 for $200 shipped via car-parts.com. A careless mistake and I'm out of $200, I guess it's cheaper than lawyer's fee for my divorce LOL. I'm really about the principal of right and wrong and my wife just isn't care.

I hope she knows car seats expire. Usually 5 years or so from the date of manufacture. It should be stamped on the bottom of the car seat somewhere.

Glad you found one Ken, it just sucks that you had to come out of pocket for a careless mistake.

Look on the bright side, maybe you can use this situation to get some "special treatment" from the wifey... LOL

I now have a hole in the back part of my drivers seat after I took it in for an alignment. It looks like the mechanic had a screwdriver or something in his back pocket when he went to move the car off he ramp. I'm glad he owned up to it and offered to pay for the repair. Now I have to find a shop who can fix this.

If it's just a puncture hole you could practically fix it with super glue and not even notice it I bet.

I've bought leather from GAHH in SoCal for other vehicles....good people; if they don't have it, they might be able to recommend someone....
