Default Anyone Used "Finish Line Wheels" for OEM Wheels?

I have the 18" 5-spoke Hyper Silver wheels on my '06 GS300 & need to replace on of my wheels that is bent beyond the ability to balance it out with counter weights. None of the local salvage yards in the DC, Northern VA, MD area have them in stock. I ran across this place located in Michigan called Finish Line Wheels. Apparently they sell refurbished OEM wheels with a lifetime warranty for $298 + $18 (shipping) vs. nearly $600 quoted by the local Lexus dealer.

Has anyone heard of or bought from Finish Line Wheels. They are not registered with the Better Business Bureau, so no luck seeing if there has been in customer compliaints.

Well not sure, never heard of them, I'm guessing these aren't Lexus rims!

if they are which ones.

bigblack06,

They claim they are refurbished OEM 18" 5-spoke wheels that came stock on the 2006 GS430. When I bought my GS300 in 2006, I made a deal with the dealer to get the 5-spoke 18" wheels off a GS430.

Yes, this is the wheel. I think in 2006 the finish was called Hyper Silver. The part number listed on the Finish Line Wheels site is accurate too. See link.

Have you looked into getting the rim repaired?

Yes, I checked with the only company in the Northern VA, Washington DC area that provides the service. They are called Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist, but they don't deal directly with the consumer; instead they work through auto dealer service & body shop depts. So you get screwed in cost due to dealer mark-up. Sucks. I actually traded emails with a rep at Alloy Wheel Repair last fall & was told it would likely be more cost effective to buy a replacement wheel than use their repair service.

Like I said before, non of the big salvage yards (Brandywine) have the wheel in stock. I have called them, checked their online inventory, & called a few smaller yards & dealers of used parts & no one has 'em. Hard to believe that is the case in this area where Lexus & other luxury vehicles are in abundance.

Hate to suggest it but, eBay might be a place to try. Just check return policy and seller feedback.

msgs350,
Yes a local Lexus repair specialist shop owner suggested the same thing. I'm more inclined to buy from Finish Line Wheels than "Joe Public" on Ebay, but I will check Ebay to see what comes up. Thanks all.

i would rather pay $390 + shipping for a new wheel, if it's just one wheel.
