typically all you really get is noise when you buy intake and exhaust. sure it does help out with a little extra hp but it certainly wont decrease your mpg by too much. what were you getting before mpg wise?

I dont really know my mpg, maybe its my driving, cuz i must admit i like the purr!!!
exhaust doesn't suck up more gas, it's just noise like others mentioned. more than likely is you enjoy the sound more so you tend to gas more and thus the worse gas mileage
If your new exhaust isn't standard it will probably have less back pressure. This probably does give more available power but less mpg. A lot of probablys here, can't tell without knowing all the details.

After I put my intake in, it seem to balanced out.
