maybe you changed your driving habit in order to hear your exhaust? it shouldnt really effect gas mileage that much.

typically all you really get is noise when you buy intake and exhaust. sure it does help out with a little extra hp but it certainly wont decrease your mpg by too much. what were you getting before mpg wise?

I think you nailed it. An exhaust wont make you lose any noticeable mpg's.

exhaust doesn't suck up more gas, it's just noise like others mentioned. more than likely is you enjoy the sound more so you tend to gas more and thus the worse gas mileage

Haha, I'm the same way. I like to hear the sound and sometimes I step on it more if I'm in front at a traffic light.

If your new exhaust isn't standard it will probably have less back pressure. This probably does give more available power but less mpg. A lot of probablys here, can't tell without knowing all the details.

After I put my intake in, it seem to balanced out.

Haha, this reminds me of the SRT intake on my GS. It makes a good roar so I was always on it, just to hear it
