Default Mark Levinson Upgrade

I found a GS350 w/o ML system. Is it difficult or should I say expensive to get it upgraded? Does not having ML system that big of a deal? What are the advantages of having ML?

eh imo the ML system for the GS isnt that much better than the "premium" sound system. only benefit of having ML is you get the dvd player which though can easily be countered with a Vaistech unit for people that dont have ML

ML does sound a little better, when playing cd's but when you install the Vaistech is sounds pretty clear and has more bass. Vaistech is a device that allows you to use your iPod to play music, it has a price of $199 to higher price if you want the hard-drive.

you can get a vaistech unit that supports video and you'll be able to display it on your screen. imo a much better solution then the over priced ML

I just priced a Vaistech unit in my city and the guy said that it would run me about $450 for unit and install. Is that a good deal?

what unit? there are a ton of different models. what functions are you looking for? that would help determine which unit to get.

yeah you'd have to add more speakers, there's a unit in the trunk.. it goes on and on. It's not worth it. REally it's not worth the original option price. that was like a $4000 addition, with the Sat/Nav DVD etc.

but i bought used, so i was stuck with it.
