I've been looking to get back in a car since I've had the '07 5.7L Tundra for a couple years. There were no V8 GS's around town for a couple months, so I ended up driving 300 miles away to get one - an '06 430. In retrospect I should have saved a few more months and gotten a 460, but I'm loving this one. Big jump from the Tundra - I no longer needed it, and with the recall on the gas pedal issue, they took out every bit of friction and weight - there was so little "damping" of the pedal afterward, that even driving over a bump would cause the pedal to move up & down, causing the truck to speed up & down. Couldn't stand it.

I've had a couple issues with the GS - the Check Engine light, Notification light and Traction lights came on with the message Check VSC, but a search here indicated it could be a gas cap issue. The gasket/o-ring looked fine, but for $30 I bought & put on a new cap. A couple days later the lights went off. Also I've got an intermittent nasty rattle under the rear deck. Per another search it could be the rear window clips hitting the body structure. Since I'm willing to do work myself & not pay the dealer more than I need to, I might pull the deck and track that one down myself. Everything else is perfect.

Congrats on the car. I believe that someone just pulled the same thing your talking about and had the TSIB pulled might wanna take a look at that!
