Default 2006 GS430 Break Pads/Rotor

I dont drive my Lexus often but when i do i beat the **** out of it. Therefore i go through break pads allot. I am starting to hear grinding on my front breaks so i think i need to get my pads and rotors replaced. I went to a local mechanic in the area and he quoted me $440 for front and $300 for rear. I dont want to use cheap parts which i think they buy their parts from Car Quest Autoparts.

Can anyone recommend a good set of pads and rotors that i can buy online and have a local mechanic put on? OR do you recommend just using whatever they purchase at the Car Quest.

I was also told that some of the online rotors are louder than stock oem but break faster? what do you guys recommend?

The Lexus dealership charges $260 per axle...$500 if new rotors are needed but a 2006 shouldn't need new rotors yet.

Have you tried Sewellpartsonline.com? Create an account and you can get a discount. With this car, i prefer OEM.

You can also try http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/. This site sells OEM Lexus and Toyota parts, and their prices are quite less than what a dealer charges.

I'm kinda tired of people misspelling brake.
